MY INSPIRATIONS
A few ideas from around our house and other interesting places we have been inspired by.

The kitchen
The kitchen was one of the first rooms we renovated when we moved into our house. But it has continued to evolve added to over the 8 years we have been here .
I have had to move up above the picture rail now and I am going to keep on adding on around the room...
Some of the plates are sourced from Italy and other from local markets and auctions.
I added the Queen garland up to celebrate the jubilee, but I just can't take it down now, so I think she will stay up for a long while yet. Her smile and brilliant hats always make me happy!

A little sitting room
Our newly refurbished sitting room. It's previous incarnation was my husband's office then it was going to be my workshop but we settled on a sitting room instead.
As you can see I like the 'more is more' approach....
Some of the pictures have been passed down in the family, most of them were found in markets and at auctions.
The light was bought as 3 individual shades and put together to make a pendant light. The wall paper is gorgeous Parker and Jules (Eversley Verdigris) and the roman blind Colefax and Fowler. It's cosy and fun and I love spending time in it.
